For this challenge we can create icons that have a portion of the subject or the whole icon image covered in a shadow or darkness.
Maybe more shadow than light.

Tip: If the screen capture you want to use is of a bright scene, try using a layer with a light to dark gradient to quickly add a shadow.

Please use the supplied screen caps from the posts at capspiration listed below.
Post dates for this challenge:
Start at October 18th, 2024 and stop at November 20th, 2024.

The "Maybe more shadow than light" makes me wonder if some of the icons I did (yes all done, I was bored last night! lol) are okay or not, tell me if I should make some of them darker.

Your icons look pretty shadowy to me. :) But it probably depends on what display screen you use. I'm looking at them on an old laptop with 1366px res and I calibrated my display years ago using a website with a calibration test. I think new higher tech HD displays are probably brighter.

I've added more shadows before you replied, they were much brighter, I suck at dark/shadowy icons... lol I might try again another time. If you think they are acceptable, the people that votes will decide if some of them deserves a vote or not, I don't mind if none of them wins.

I can't wait to see what the other participants will do, many icons on this post are sooo pretty!

I see that you changed them now. I think they're great. Anyways, you were good at this style when you made the icons I picked to be in the inspo. :)
