For this challenge we have two color palettes I found on Colourlovers when I searched the site for "flight of the conchords." Colourlovers has been under maintenance a lot lately, but I put a small image of the palettes for backup if the palette badges go offline.

You may use both palettes if you are making two (or more) different icons.
Icons do not have to have the exact colors from the hex codes.

Enclosure

For this challenge we can create icons with subjects that are away from the sides of the icon, so it looks like they are enclosed within it. In other words, no part of the character's body should be on or overlapping any of the sides or edges of the icon. Subjects should be totally "contained" within the icon space.
Some ways to do this are shown in the example icons below - far away crops, "floating" cut-outs, adding borders, frames, or otherwise covering part of the subjects so they do not go over any of the sides.

Carry It On

For this challenge take something - a color, a technique, a genre, a franchise, an actor, or whatever - from your first icon and carry it over to use on your second icon, then take something from your second icon and carry it into your third icon, and so on, for all your entries.
You will have to create a minimum of two (2) icons to enter this time.
Fun fact: This challenge was popular at capicontest in 2017 and 2020.
If you would like, try to do what was suggested by the mod then, and connect something in your very last icon to your first one, for a tougher challenge.

Texturing

For this challenge we can make icons with texture images/graphics added to the screen caps. Any kind of visible texture will do, whether soft specks of film dust or wild watercolor painting or patterns & decorative designs.

If you'd like to share or link to the textures you used on your entries, you can add the textures to your post. Some people did this at capicontest for a textures challenge, in 2016. This is totally optional.
